What do I set the Incoming Mail Server to when adding a new mail account in my email program?

This should be set to mail.yourdomainname.co.nz (where yourdomainname.co.nz is the domain name you are hosting with WebFarm).

 

What do I set the Outgoing Mail Server to when adding a new mail account in my email program?

As most ISPs are now blocking Port 25 to try and reduce Spam, you will need to set your Outgoing Mail Server to your ISPs smtp server.  Some of the larger ISP's smtp server details are listed below:

  • Paradise (smtp.paradise.net.nz)
  • Slingshot (smtp.slingshot.co.nz)
  • Telstraclear (smtp.clear.net.nz)
  • Woosh (smtp.woosh.co.nz )
  • Xnet (smtp.xnet.co.nz)
  • Xtra (smtp.xtra.co.nz)

 

How do I check my mail when I am away from my computer?

If you are away from your PC or Notebook and you wish to check your email, you can do so using our webmail service, which is available using any web browser at http://www.yourdomainname.co.nz/webmail (where yourdomainname.co.nz is the domain name you are hosting with WebFarm).
